This is most definitely a nice piece. Nice shape and look to it. It is most definitely a large diameter handguard, more than what I needed for sure. I needed one my suppressor could fit under and it did that with ease. The main problem I had was the barrel nut. The way it’s designed I could not tighten it enough and get it to line up when you put the screws in. It says to line up the hole with the gas tube then it says how to install the rest. When I tighten it all the way it doesn’t line up so the handguard is off by a good amount. As in the picatinny rail ends up cocked off to the side. So I backed it off to do what they said and line it up. It’s on a 45 acp 4″ barrel with no gas tube so I would rather it be tighten. So I followed the instructions and finished the install and when I picked it up the handguard twisted in my hand. So I had to tighten the barrel nut little by little to get it as tight as I could and still get it to line up. A good bit of lock tight and she should run fine. Overall this a really nice handguard, I’m just not sold on the barrel nut for my application.
