Open Positions 3

We’re looking for one person to own our content engine: concept, shoot, and edit a high-volume stream of video and photo that builds the brand and drives sales across YouTube, Instagram, our website, and email.

This is not a button-pusher role. You bring the creative eye. We’ll give you the strategy and direction; you turn it into finished work that ships without anyone checking it for mistakes. If you need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what looks good, this isn’t the seat.

What you’ll do

  • Concept, shoot, and edit short-form video as the primary output. Built for YouTube Shorts and Instagram. Target ramps from 2–3 finished shorts/week to 5/week, largely through batch production (one ~8-hour shoot spliced into a run of templated shorts)
  • Shoot and edit podcast video, studio content, and on-the-range content
  • Shoot and retouch product and lifestyle photography for web, email, and display
  • Sharpen the Angstadt visual style and bring a point of view on what actually resonates with our audience, not just execute briefs
  • Maintain an organized media library and hand finished assets to our e-commerce manager (web/email/display) and social media manager (posts) on time and ready to use
  • Travel with the team (2–5×/year) to events to capture full content packages

What success looks like

  • Inside 90 days: a steady, reliable 2–3 shorts/week shipping at a quality bar that doesn’t need line-by-line review
  • Inside 6 months: a repeatable batch-shoot system producing 5 shorts/week, plus a documented, sharpened visual style you helped define
  • Ongoing: content that moves the metrics that matter (watch time, engagement, and conversion) not just content that exists

Who you are

  • A genuine creative who can run the whole pipeline solo: idea → shoot → edit → finished file
  • Fast and detail-obsessed. You ship quickly and clean. Both, not one
  • You have taste. You know what will perform before you hit record, and you can defend why
  • You’re comfortable with firearms and the range. You don’t have to be a competitive shooter, but you need to know your way around guns and handle them safely on set
  • You take ownership. You pitch ideas, flag problems, and don’t wait to be told

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating short-form video you concepted and edited yourself (see “How to apply”) below
  • Strong shooting + editing fundamentals. Editor’s choice on software. We’ll buy the tools you want
  • Firearms experience/interest and range comfort required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (ITAR compliance)
  • On-site in Charlotte, NC. This is not remote

How to apply:
Send your resume plus a portfolio of 3–5 short-form videos you both concepted and edited. In a short note (a few sentences), pitch one piece of content you’d make for Angstadt Arms and why you think it would perform. Applications without a portfolio and a pitch won’t be reviewed. Send to jobs@angstadtarms.com

As our Shipping & Receiving Associate, you own both ends of the warehouse. Nothing enters or leaves without your accountability. You’ll receive inbound materials, verify them against purchase orders, pack and ship outbound orders correctly and on time, and keep inventory records accurate in real time. You’re the last line of quality defense before a product reaches the customer.

What you’ll do

  • Pull and pack every outbound order accurately — right SKU, right quantity, right packaging — to carrier and brand standards
  • Process and ship all daily orders without backlog; update order status in real time and ensure no order leaves without correct documentation
  • Receive all inbound shipments, verify quantities against POs, and inspect for damage or non-conformance before anything gets put away
  • Maintain accurate digital inventory records with every transaction; flag discrepancies immediately
  • Inspect products before packaging — identify and escalate defects, never ship non-conforming product
  • Build working knowledge of Angstadt Arms products to pull orders correctly and catch quality issues without prompting
  • Keep your work area organized, clean, and ready — it should reflect the quality of what we build

What we’re looking for

  • High attention to detail and accuracy — you catch discrepancies before they become problems
  • Ownership mentality — reliable, accountable, follows through without being told
  • Comfortable with shipping systems (UPS, FedEx) and basic computer tools (Google Sheets, email)
  • Organized and process-disciplined, especially under volume pressure
  • Works well on a team but doesn’t need constant oversight
  • Proactive — flags problems early instead of burying them

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen (ITAR compliance)
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to do repetitive, hands-on, physical work for a full shift

Prior shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience and an interest in firearms are a plus.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven team member to own our financial recordkeeping and regulatory records compliance. This is a dual-function role: roughly half accounting, half audit, suited for someone who takes satisfaction in keeping systems clean and accurate.

What you’ll do

Bookkeeping

  • Enter daily transactions in QuickBooks Online and MRPeasy
  • Generate and send AR invoices to customers
  • Enter AP invoices and manage vendor credits for defective inventory
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage outstanding receivables and follow up on late payments
  • Generate monthly and ad-hoc financial reports

Records Compliance

  • Conduct daily review of firearm and suppressor acquisition/disposition records to verify entries are complete and accurate in Fastbound (our bound book software)
  • Perform monthly serialized inventory audits to confirm on-hand inventory matches Fastbound records
  • Review ATF eForm submissions for accuracy prior to filing
  • Maintain proper retention of physical serialized records
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ATF records requests

What to Know About the Compliance Side

Our shipping and receiving team handles the vast majority of serialized entries via barcode scanning. This is a modern, digital system with a high degree of automation. Your role is to audit the paper trail and verify that entries were made correctly. This isn’t a high-complexity regulatory attorney role, it’s an organized person making sure our team’s work is accurate and our records are clean.

What we’re looking for

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a criminal background investigation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (ITAR Requirement)
  • 2+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
  • QuickBooks Online experience required
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and general computer fluency
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing environment with regulated inventory

Nice to have

  • Accounting degree or coursework
  • Prior experience in a licensed firearm dealer, manufacturer, or distributor environment
  • Familiarity with ATF compliance or bound book recordkeeping
