The standard mag release worked fine, but the extended release gives much more leverage for your index finger. Will take some training repetitions to adjust to it, but I think it’s a much enhanced capability. Highly recommended.

Definitely needed upgrade. Wish the UDP-9 came with it. The original release is good aesthetically, but the function isn’t the best. This puts a spot in a great position to not have your hand to contort to release the magazine.

Simple install, push-button simplicity. It makes dropping mags simple as extending your finger; no more having to change grip.
Now Angstadt just needs to release a simple ambi-bolt release and my UPD-9 will be fully ambi!
