Frequently Asked Questions
9MM Buffer Spring?
We recommend starting with a standard carbine spring when building a 9MM AR (PCC AR-9). If you need to “tune” your system because you are shooting a specific grain bullet or shooting suppressed we recommend adjusting your buffer weight first before jumping to a heavier spring. Additional mass will increase dwell time easier than a heavier spring and it won’t impact LRBHO (last round bolt hold open) as much or make the firearm more difficult to charge. All of our 9MM Buffer Kits come with this standard carbine spring.
