Featuring a full-sized frame with interchangeable backstraps, the pistol allows shooters to customize the grip angle for optimal comfort and natural point of aim. Enhanced recoil control is achieved through the extended beavertail and aggressive trigger guard undercut, facilitating quick and accurate follow-up shots.
The frames wrap-around grip texture strikes a balance between a secure grip and daily wear comfort, ensuring the pistol remains firmly in the shooter’s hand during intense use. The DR920’s match-grade barrel, conventionally rifled and spiral-fluted, is available in threaded or unthreaded options. The drop-safe, flat-faced aluminum trigger boasts a 4.5-5.0 lbs pull weight and a crisp, tactile reset. Optic cut models allow direct mounting of mini red dot optics to the slide without additional plates or adapters.
The DR920 Elite model elevates the experience with directional slide serrations enhancing grip in front, rear, and topside locations. A weight-optimizing window cut reduces overall pistol weight for increased maneuverability. The slide top is milled with a multi-footprint optic cut accommodating most major optics brands. With a 9×19 caliber and a 17+1 round capacity, the DR920 Elite weighs 23 oz (Combat) or 22.4 oz (Elite), combining reliability with lightweight maneuverability. The frame is textured polymer, the slide material is 17-4 stainless steel, and the barrel material is bronze 416R stainless steel.
