KAC’s Pressure Reduction Technology (PRT) Signature Reduction Device line combines previous-generation KAC suppressors’ proven durability and acoustic performance with innovative pressure reduction design. These suppressors are specifically engineered to release most pressure within the device and bore before the operating system starts extraction. This greatly mitigates the negative effects of suppressor integration and reduces felt recoil, even when providing the same level of sound reduction as traditional suppressors. Additionally, the PRT design effectively minimizes muzzle flash, especially the first-round flash. The Quick Disconnect (QDC) mounting method ensures reduced carbon-lock and minimal yet consistent shift in point of impact when transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.
