Cleaning is simple because the suppressor remains fully assembled.
 
Recommended cleaning methods include:
 
Ultrasonic Cleaner
  • Place the suppressor in an ultrasonic cleaner
  • Run a cleaning cycle for approximately 30 minutes
  • Remove and allow the suppressor to fully dry
BreakThrough Clean Suppressor Cleaner
  • Insert a plug (silicone, rubber or something suitable) into the end of the suppressor exit hole and stand suppressor on end with the threaded side facing up. We recommend placing the suppressor in a cup or bin to avoid spilling cleaning solvent
  • Completely fill the inside of the suppressor with cleaning solvent
  • Leave solvent in suppressor for 12-24 hours
  • Remove plug and thoroughly rinse the suppressor with water
  • Allow suppressor to dry
Both methods remove carbon and lead fouling generated by rimfire ammunition.
Cleaning intervals depend on firing volume and ammunition quality.
 
Typical maintenance intervals are:
 
  • Moderate use: every 500–1,000 rounds
  • Heavy use or dirty ammunition: every 300–500 rounds

The Reticent 22 significantly reduces the sound signature of a .22 LR firearm by slowing and cooling expanding gases before they exit the muzzle. When paired with subsonic ammunition and a Ruger Precision Rimfire bolt action rifle, the quietest dB reading we recorded was 113.4 decibels and our average across a 5 shot group was 115 dB.

We use a bolt action rifle when measuring sound levels because the loudest sound often becomes the firearm’s action cycling rather than the muzzle report.

The Reticent 22 is optimized for high-quality factory rimfire ammunition including: subsonic, standard velocity and high velocity.
 
Subsonic ammunition typically produces the quietest performance because the bullet remains below the speed of sound. High-velocity ammunition may produce a sonic crack that cannot be eliminated by a suppressor.
The Reticent 22 is a rimfire suppressor and can be used with any 22 long rifle caliber firearm by mounting directly to barrels with the standard 1/2×28 thread pattern.

With the suppressor removed from the firearm, place the body of the suppressor into soft jaws on a vice and tighten the vice. Using an adjustable wrench, turn the mount counterclockwise (left) until the mount completely threads off the suppressor. Reinstall in reverse order
The Reticent 360S and 360L are compatible with pistol calibers up to 9MM and rifle calibers up to .360

No. The Reticent is made from Grade 5 Titanium and therefore not suitable for fully automatic fire.

HUB stands for Hybrid Universal Base and is simply a 1.375×24 thread pitch commonly used by manufacturers. It ensures that mounts and suppressors from different manufacturers are compatible.

The Reticent 360 suppressor comes equipped with a 1/2×28 direct thread adapter for mounting to a fixed barrel firearm. To install the suppressor on your handgun with a tilting or reciprocating barrel, simply remove the direct thread mount and install a booster assembly, also called a Nielsen device.

The Reticent 22 is produced using Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), an advanced additive manufacturing process. This method allows complex internal geometry that improves suppressor efficiency while maintaining structural strength.
