This receiver set is top notch, the cuts are machine work are very high quality. My only complaint (which was my own fault) is that I ordered the set through a 3rd party website (Budsgunshop) and therefore the parts kit was not included. I bought my receiver set several years ago but I was very impressed with the quality of the fit and finish. I bought most of my parts from here also and when I had issues getting it to function correctly (my fault), Rich returned all my calls and emails personally until my issue was solved. PUBLC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Glock 33 round magazines can have fit issues. If your 33 round has a “-02” instead of “01” in the model number, it may need a simple modification to function. All other Glock mags work fine,
FUNCTION: I ran 300 rounds to Christen my build and did not have a single issue. The LRBHO worked every time with a range of Glock mags from the G26 to 33 round. Everybody else seems to be using the same mechanism that mounts to the outside of the upper receiver; not Angstad. It’s all tucked inside the lower, like it should be. The mag release is a little stiff so I might get their extended one to get more leverage. I used a Taccom buffer, bolt, and barrel, which worked perfect with this receiver.
FIT/FINISH: The receiver is gorgeous. The fit between them is so tight and precise. When you close the upper, the pin always are perfectly lined up.
RAILS: Finding a rail to fit was a little tough (I was originally going to go with a Geissele and machined the anti rotation tabs to get it to fit). Another rail that I had lying around was the Midwest Industries SP handguard.

I identified this product for a custom AR9 build based on several written and video reviews. I wanted the whole set instead of piecing out the lower and upper separately so they would fit tight without some of the slop you might expect when done separately. I was not disappointed. This set looks really sharp. Good quality, good lines. In fact, I like the Angstadt products so much the “custom” build looks a lot like their UDP-9 with the barrel and hand guard. I used the SCW developed by Angstadt and licensed to Dead Foot Arms for the BCG and buffer system as well. All in all, I really enjoyed this build and the results!

Quick delivery to my FFL in PA. The upper was a shade darker than the lower but no concern for me. The beefy and angular engineering of the design was rather appealing and fresh. I had to freeze my KAW Valley 8 and 1/2 inch barrel to get it into the receiver but again, no concern for me. I installed a rifle length six sided buffer tube from PHASE5 ( it really flows with receivers) and added the tail hook Gen1 pistol brace. This is my 1st AR9 build as upposed to my other AR9 from blank blank. To the range soon!
